Terms and Conditions

These rules set out the conditions for buying products in the Aro89 online shop. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and agree to them.

1. General provisions

1.2. The “Buyer” is an adult individual or a legal entity placing an order on the website. A “Consumer” is a Buyer who is an individual buying for purposes outside their professional activity.

1.3. The relationship between the Seller and the Buyer is governed by these rules and the laws of the Republic of Moldova, including consumer protection law. Nothing in these rules limits the rights granted to Consumers by law.

1.4. The Seller may change these rules. Each order is governed by the version published on the website when the order was placed.

2. Placing an order

2.1. Products can be ordered with or without creating an account on the website.

2.2. When ordering, the Buyer provides the details needed to fulfil the order: name, phone number, delivery address and, optionally, an email address. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of these details.

2.3. The Seller may cancel orders with incomplete or clearly incorrect details, or orders that appear automated or abusive, informing the Buyer where possible.

3. Conclusion of the contract

3.1. Displaying products on the website does not oblige the Seller to sell them. By placing an order, the Buyer makes an offer to buy.

3.2. The sales contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order (by phone, by email or by changing the order status to “Confirmed” in the Buyer’s account).

3.3. If an ordered product is no longer available, the Seller informs the Buyer and offers a similar product or removal of that product from the order.

4. Price and payment

4.1. Prices are shown in Moldovan lei (MDL) and include all applicable taxes. The price shown on the website when the order is placed applies.

4.2. The delivery cost is shown in the bag before the order is placed. Delivery costs 60 MDL and is free for orders from 1,500 MDL (after discounts).

4.3. Payment is made on delivery to the courier, in cash or by card.

4.4. Promotions (such as “3+1”) are applied automatically in the bag under the conditions shown on the website. Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

4.5. In the event of an obvious pricing or description error, the Seller informs the Buyer, who may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it at no cost.

5. Delivery

5.1. Products are delivered within the Republic of Moldova by courier to the address given by the Buyer. Details are on the “Delivery and payment” page.

5.2. The estimated delivery time is communicated when the order is confirmed.

5.3. On receipt, the Buyer checks the parcel in the courier’s presence. Visibly damaged parcels may be refused; the Seller will replace affected products.

5.4. The risk of loss or damage passes to the Buyer when the parcel is handed over.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

6.1. Consumers may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the products, under the conditions on the “Returns and exchanges” page.

6.2. For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used fragrance products (for example air fresheners removed from their sealed packaging, opened bottles, used sprays) cannot be returned, unless they are defective.

7. Product quality and complaints

7.1. The Seller guarantees that products match their description on the website. Shelf life and conditions of use are stated on the packaging.

7.2. If the Buyer receives a defective, damaged or wrong product, they are entitled, at their choice, to a replacement, a price reduction or a refund, in accordance with consumer protection law. Complaints can be sent to [to be completed] or made by phone at [to be completed], stating the order number and, where possible, with photos.

8. Safe use

8.1. The Buyer must read the label and instructions before use. Fragrance products must be kept out of reach of children and must not come into contact with plastic or varnished surfaces of the car. Safety information for each scent is given in the product description.

9. Customer account

9.1. The Buyer is responsible for keeping their account password confidential. The Seller may suspend accounts used abusively or fraudulently.

10. Intellectual property

10.1. The website content (texts, design, graphics) is protected by copyright law. Product trademarks and images belong to their manufacturer, Aromatic •89• (UAB “OLD LT”, Lithuania), and are used with its permission.

11. Personal data

11.1. The Buyer’s data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the website and the personal data protection law of the Republic of Moldova.

12. Dispute resolution

12.1. Disputes are settled amicably. Consumers may also contact the Agency for Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance. Disputes not settled amicably are heard by the competent courts of the Republic of Moldova.
